🤷♂️"I don't know what to do with them. Let's just make the customer deal with it."
🔑That's how I imagine the convo going when <name redacted> rental car company wondered what to do with the two large-ish key fobs they get with the car.
😖The reverse convo from my fellow business traveling colleague...aka “The Customer”. “I never know what to do with these things. They don’t fit in my pocket. I end up leaving them on the restaurant table and half the time I forget them. I can’t separate them. Why on earth would they give me two keys?”
🤹♀️Travel is riddled with item juggling moments. Luggage. Documents. Kids. (Don’t literally juggle the kids unless you’re really good. That could get you into all sorts of trouble.)
😤So why does the company give you two keys that annoy you...two keys that there is NO way you can separate them and make it easier to hold? Two keys that now cause you just another item to figure out how to juggle.
😬I imagine it’s because the BUSINESS doesn’t know what to do with two keys.
🤨But why is the BUSINESS solution to make it the CUSTOMER’S problem?
👍I don’t have an answer here other than it shouldn’t be dumped on the customer. What do you think?
