“We’re at least better than our competitors”😐
🐻Have you ever heard “You don’t need to run faster than the bear...you just need to run faster than your fellow hikers”? Well….
Lots of companies think like this and to some degree they’re right...but they’re missing something...
💡They fail to consider who their fellow hikers are.
🤔They think...well I’m a mobile provider or I’m a car dealership or I’m a airline so I only need to compare myself to other mobile companies or dealerships or airlines
🙅♀️Wrong.
✅Your customer has experiences across all industries...and they are judging you against their best experiences.
📝Your dealership might be better than the one across town but you’re awful compared to the excellent experience delivered by the grocery store in your same town (shoutout HEB! woot!)
🌎And forget local for a second...you’re being compared to ANY experience the customer has. If they had a great experience with Chick Fil A or Amazon or any other company, THAT’S your experience competition.
